Review: I'm not a huge fan of Lane Hayes, but they write a nice "first time gay" romance. There's some water polo in Out in the Deep as well, which is unusual.
The audio version of Out in the Deep is nicely performed by Michael Dean.

So this turned up nothing. A couple where they are close together, but none where the phrase is used

I think it’s living in NYC! She’s always doing something so cool.
I do like to do stuff!!!! My son and I went to this historic estate on Long Island yesterday because they were allowing dogs for the weekend. It was gorgeous - one of those wealthy families who had a huge home and gardens and left it all to a historic preservation group. It was wonderful - all the fall colors.I listened to a book today, I'll add it now.
