Yes, my Mum has been really poorly with a chest infection for we have been backwards and forwards to the doctors etc.

Still need to finish my book too. I have been listening to the audio version so it has taken me a little longer. Hopefully will be finished in the next day or too.

Thanks everyone. She had a stroke 3 years ago and now needs full time care which we provide at home, with the help of other family members and careers. However I also work full time so my reading time can sometimes take a back seat.

Fingers crossed the new steroids and antibiotics we got from the doctors seem to be working and she is starting to cough less.

I ams till ploughing my way through the book. The audio is taking too long so I have actually switched to the kindle version.

Glad its good but yikes that is a chunky book. LOL I've had quite a few last year that were a bit chunky but not that big. I think I will have to go for it this year. I'll have to see what interest me.

Thank you everyone, yes Mum is finally feeling better. 5 lots of antibiotics and 2 lots of steroids later. Turns out it wasn't just a chest infection it was pneumonia! Add that to the damage caused to her lungs and muscles by the stroke no wonder they weren't working.

Off to the hospital this afternoon to see the physio, so hopefully we are moving forwards :)
