Drace (dracenines) | 7569 comments More covers deleted. Maybe someday the site's staff will actually fix the bot. With how they're just ignoring it, I'm half-considering ditching this site and managing my to-read list from an Excel spreadsheet.

I remember when the bot started mass adding invalid editions and random crap from Amazon that weren't even books, people freaked out over the damage it was doing to the site. Deleting multiple hundreds, possibly even multiple thousands of books and the people in charge not even considering turning the damn thing off has damaged the site far more than junk items being added. Call me a doomer, but I legitimately do not think the Goodreads database will ever be able to recover from this.
