We've got the last signature bake all sorted now, so please everyone go ahead and post your books!
I'll very likely have one for orange cover by the end of the week, but if people have stuff for Horror now then we can roll with that

I'll be reading The Dead Zone this week, which is MPG Horror. However, if we get more for orange that's cool as I'll be reading my book either way.
Looks like we still need one more horror book, but other than that all the contestants/bakes are in for this week, so everyone please go ahead and post your books!
I don’t think I’ll have time to complete a horror before Monday now, forgot I have In-laws stuff to do
If no one else has a horror already done, I can blitz through one pretty fast today for our last theme book
Shan ~A~, for the book you have logged as page points, you could probably count any of the women it focuses on, or the author herself, as the "MC". That's what I usually do for nonfiction that doesn't really have a protagonist. Might fit a category that way!

What do we think about the theme tasks for this week? I don't have one for either at the moment, but I'm guessing hot/cold will be easier than PUDDING
Saige wrote: "What do we think about the theme tasks for this week? I don't have one for either at the moment, but I'm guessing hot/cold will be easier than PUDDING"I'll be on the lookout for both during my book selection this week. I do think PUDDING may be harder to find, but easier to spot.

I agree. I'm not sure how to look for the 'Features both a hot and cold location', but I could reading Three Mages and a Margarita for PUDDING in series title.
I’ll keep an eye out for hot/cold, currently reading a book set in California but whether they travel far enough is a different matter
I wonder how distant the locations have to be? Like if the whole book takes place in one castle, but the bedrooms are freezing at night and the kitchen is always hot, would that count?
Ok, I have one for hot and cold but I won't post it yet in case we want to do PUDDING instead. Any more thoughts on that?
I don’t think I have anything for either. I have like 7 books that I need to write reviews for and just haven’t had time.
Oh wait I have one for Hot/cold
Hot: “I’m fine. It was getting hot in here, so I lowered the window.” Loc 2995
Cold: “The room had turned cold” loc 2592
Review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Pages: 400
We need one more for hot/cold. Shan A, I know you have a ton in banked. Do you remember if any of them mention places that are hot and cold? If there's a hot room or something in the Barbarian Ice Planet one then that might work nicely
I've just finished The Frost Queen's Blade, which I think works. 2%, "knew that the caress of hot dry air on her skin..."
18%, "But in this room with the assassin, the air so cold and the walls so close..."
Do you want me to post it?

Yes please, go ahead and post it! I think it'll count - the mods aren't usually too fussy about stuff like this

I think maybe birthdays happen in books more often, but I don't have a book for that or balloons on the cover.
