(view spoiler)[I think this was my least favorite of all the books. I didn't ever really grow to like Fate and his and Blythe's story was a hard one for me to stay engaged in for that reason. There was a lot going on and i felt like the payoff in the end was not worth it. Really Fate dies? Just when they start to come to grips with their true self he DIES. I mean, i guess since Blythe is now essentially immortal and Fate can come back, somehow, it all will work out in the end, But, really? (hide spoiler)]

Part One
(view spoiler)[ Okay so love the fox and love this dynamic but WTF Aris why are freezing her half to death. Come on. Also very interesting what their rings are doing. Good job Blythe on “inviting” your father. It wasn’t really but it did give the opportunity for this. Let the fake dating begin. (hide spoiler)]

Part Two
(view spoiler)[ Whoa this part was intense. I love the building romance between Blythe and Fate. Their banter is so great. I’m glad Blythe finally knows the truth and I get why she didn’t tell Fate but also Blythe this is not going to end well. Chaos is a very interesting addition and now we finally know why Foxglove happened, a bit of a letdown to be honest, just the wrath of a god. I want to know how Rima did it and what was she? And what is going on at Thorne Grove? I don’t understand how this all fits together but I guess we will find out. (hide spoiler)]

Part Three
(view spoiler)[ Poor Blythe to be going through this again. I knew it couldn’t be as simple as killing the horse, but is it immortal or near to it now? That was definitely not the intent and what does that mean for Elaine? The random Aris POV was interesting and I had a feeling Elijah knew, glad to have that confirmed. (hide spoiler)]

Part Four
(view spoiler)[ I am glad they found each other again and that Blythe has Elijah but I wanted more from that ending. Some time with Fate and Blythe being happy would have been appreciated. Also it was Percy all along this is how it all ties together, that was really cool and makes sense given who Blythe wanted brought back but yikes. I’m glad Death cursed him because he deserved it. I’m glad there’s a holiday novella coming to provide the happy times I wanted. Blythe and Fate went through so much I really want to see them be happy for a bit. (hide spoiler)]
