Calling all writers,

I have worked as a freelance beta reader, university writing instructor, and writing tutor for 4+ years. The feedback I can offer is based on my experience working a variety of writing styles and topics at all stages of the writing process. I have a BaH in English and Classics, an MA in English, and am currently pursuing a PhD studying formatting and narrative structure in Interactive Fiction. Beta reading is a passion that I enjoy doing in-between my research, as I enjoy helping authors voices and stories shine.

My favourite genres are fantasy, urban fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction, young adult, and spy fiction, but my reading is varied and I enjoy exploring other genres so feel free to reach out for a sample read if you’d like to see if my services fit what you are looking for. Sample reads are free of charge to allow you to gauge whether my style of feedback is compatible with what you are looking for.

Prices:
beta read: $1.50 CAD per 1000 words
copy edit: $0.015 CAD per word
proofread: $0.01 CAD per word
