Wrong publication date: cannot change

Title: Pierre Before Bill
Problem: I updated the cover of my forthcoming book and now have two publication dates.

Correct Cover: contains the word 'prequel' in the subtitle box on the cover.
Correct Publication date: Janaury 16, 2025

I've tried many times to change the date from September 1, 2024 to January 16, 2025 but can't. Can you?

Authors cannot update covers, you have added an alternate cover edition.
I cannot fix the details as your comments on book edit page are causing a bug preventing my edits, please remove those comments and I will fix the details.

I've removed all comments except one ('done') otherwise I cannot save the changes. Is this enough?

I cannot edit this whilst your librarian comment remains. You can remove that and leave a 'change comment' instead.

More please. Another book of mine, Pierre & Bill Now, also has the wrong pub date. It should be February 27, 2024 (and not September 1, 2024). I tried to change but cannot. Here's thre GR's link with a link to Amazon where ther date is correct. Thanks again.

You then added an alternate cover edition in August, somebody else added a further edition in September. Site admin have become involved in this and there is a warning not to change the status of the final edition.

All that interference is me. In August I tried to change the cover (never understood I wasn't supposed to) and in September when I saw it didn't work tried to change it back.

The link you give is the correct one showing Feb 27. Please pass that on to site admin in case it helps and I will contact support.

On the other matter: Pierre Before Bill. Have you managed to advance the release date to Nov 21 2024?

Yes, I changed that date.
When you contact support you could also ask them why you are unable to edit your own books.
