Seems so. I don't check that the merge is complete unless a required/recombine is requested. There is nothing to do but wait a few days and see how it goes.

Yes, the cleanup routine caught it. I think it runs once every month or so and cleans up all merges that are stuck. Some other merges which I queued for about the same time also got merged.
