Current Production Status:
This series is still in the very early stages of development.
The Inheritance Games Adaptation Timeline:
The first book in the series was published in September 2020, but the bidding war for the screen rights happened much earlier in the year. It was announced in March 2020, six months before release, that Amazon and Sony Pictures TV had won the rights and would be making The Inheritance Games adaptation into a series. There has been no further news on the adaptation since then.
However the second book in the series was released in September 2021, and the third book in the series was released in August 2022. The fourth book came out in August 2023.
Who Owns The Rights:
Sony Pictures TV and Osprey Productions teamed up to land the rights in the bidding war. They have partnered with Amazon Studios for distribution of the series. Which means a series would come out on Prime
Who Is Attached:
There are currently no actors, directors, or screenwriters publicly attached to the series.
Filming Locations:
With this project still being in early development there are no filming locations yet.

Because this project is still in the early stages of development there is currently no estimated release.
