In an earlier post, you said that you send your book to the people above you. That’s how my last round went. So I think Joseph was correct. He sends to #s 4-7. You review the people below.

Hi Scott!
Joseph is currently in Position #3. So if nothing changes, he will review the four people below him (4, 5, 6, 7.) He will send his book to the 4 people above him (9, 10, 1, 2.)
However, this is all contingent on all 10 people in the round checking in. The order may still change, so no one should exchange books yet. Hope this helps. I know reading order can be confusing!

Cecilia, great enthusiasm, but we haven't started yet, and may reshuffle
Adilyn has said she is ready to go - but she hasn't said that here in the group. I haven't heard from Arriah at all. If not tonight, I will open her spot back up.

I saw the list you put a few days ago and went full throttle. As you can see, I am not the procrastinator type. 🤣
I hope I did not create a mess by posting the review earlier.
I will hold on till you tell me we are really good to go

I'd like to join with my fantasy book Crystalborne Sigils.
My GR book link: www.goodreads.com/book/show/60585890-...
My GR author link: www.goodreads.com/slynnhelton
(I also write as Lynn Helton)
And now for the conflicts...
K.T. Munson, J.R. Gibson, David MacNamera, and Scott M. Sargent have all reviewed me before. And Scott would need to read a different book of mine - the next in the series: Songborne Gates.I'll leave the other round I'm in to join here if it mean we can get this round going. :)
I've reviewed Loralee Evans, Joseph Carrabis, and Trish Henry Green before (and this book of Loralee's). I think Loralee has another book I can review (The Shores of Bountiful?). Joseph definitely has another book I can review (Tag: The First Verduan and Patreo Mystery).
I have no review conflicts with Adilyn Andrews and Cecilia Anastos.
Lynn, Thank you.
This is a real stroke of luck.
I will post the new list
and we can do a flight check and get started.

Once we get going:
Scott M. Sargent, you will need to read a different book of mine - the next in the series, please Songborne Gates.
I will need to review a different book of yours, Loralee - is The Shores of Bountiful okay?
And I will need to review a different book of yours, Joseph - is Tag: The First Verduan and Patreo Mystery okay?
Here is something nice and strange...
Post 88 on page 2 has a link that will tell you how to set the button on your messages so group members can get in touch with you.
When I pasted that link here, it went to my account (so who knows, it might have taken you to yours). Anyway, to play it safe, use the link in post 88 to switch your messages to anyone.
thanks

I am good to go!
Yes, no one should be asking for books, or asking for emails to send books to, yet.
Since things have been changed a little, and we need to confirm again.

I'm good to go, too!
FYI, I have changed the messaging option on my Trish Henry Green account. It's new, and 'anyone can message' is not the default option!! I didn't realise.
PLEASE NOTE, I would prefer messages on Trish Butler, if possible. I will be reviewing using that account.
Thanks, Rik. You're doing great.

As Lynn mentioned, I've already reviewed Crystalborne Sigils, but if she's okay with me reviewing the second in the series, it works for me.
Rik, when you copy and paste a link from a post, it doesn't grab the whole address. That might be the reason.
Hello Folks!
Yes, we have to wait for everyone to say they are ready to start. at that point I'll post a timeline for the rounds and we'll get started!

I was coming on to remove the list, but I think we're almost ready to go. I will try and get in touch with the final members
Adilyn! Yay! Great to hear from you. In the morning I will post a schedule. All right with everybody if we start tomorrow night?

Sounds good!

I've gotten a few friends requests from some of you. We know Amazon doesn't like review swapping, but I've also heard that they downgrade reviews from readers who are friends. Now that Amazon owns Goodreads, I'm wondering if being GR friends is a good idea.
Any thoughts or opinions?

I agree with Scott. My friends list is short for that reason.

Same here. Just an abundance of caution to help preserve those real reviews that we give and get. We don't have to be "friends" here on GR to be able to communicate and review.
Yes, Thank you Lynn. I didn't know that. I've just removed several friends - with a heavy heart. But I don't want to cost anyone their reviews.
Here we go! You SEND books to the 4 people ABOVE you, and receive from the 4 people BELOW you. If you think you see a mistake on the list, please leave a comment!

Please remember the commitment you are making to your fellow group members. If you pull out after the start date for any reason it is the other members who will be faced with the problem of finding a replacement, or missing out on reads/reviews, through no fault of their own. Please don’t ask the moderators to chase after replacements as we just don’t have the time.
It is the responsibility of the author to get their book to their readers in a format the reviewer can manage.
Everyone must be able to provide and accept PDF. You may buy or borrow the books you are due to read if you wish, and I’m sure the author will appreciate the verified review, but IT IS NOT COMPULSORY. There are no set dates for the start of each round. You can each work at your own pace, within the limits of the round deadlines.
All reviews must be posted to GR. We also encourage members to post on Amazon. When you have posted your reviews, please post the links to each of your reviews, not the book page in this thread.
The mod of each round will record whether members have posted reviews on Amazon and for the good of all, members who persistently fail to post reviews or DNF reviews to Amazon, will find mods less than willing to add them to subsequent groups.
Postings to other sites are by agreement by both author and reviewer.
If I’ve missed something that results in you being asked to review someone who has already reviewed you, please let me know asap.
To exchange book files, my advice is to use PM to give email addresses to each other (save the chance of spammers getting your addies from this open forum).
Setting up and modding these rounds is a labour of love, with a lot of emphasis on the ‘labour’. If you want to show appreciation for all the hard work we admins put in for the group, you could download one of our books as a ‘thank you’.
Happy reviewing, everyone :)

Hey all,
Thanks to Lynn for pointing out my book wasn't on KU!! It should have been and it is now.
It's been four years since I published a book and I guess things have changed!! It used to be on the set up pages and I chose it without thinking too much.
So if you're reviewing me and have KU you should find it there. LMK

Cecilia, this is how you find, copy, and paste your Goodreads review.
When logged into Goodreads, look at the menu at the top of the screen. You will see
Home My Books Browse Community
Click on My Books.
Click on Date Added, so the books you have most recently reviewed show at the top.
On the book whose review you need to post, click on "view"
That will take you to the review. Copy the address from the address bar at the top of the page.
Then paste it on this thread.
Doing that, will help save Rik time. Posting links to both your goodreads and amazon reviews helps count toward your completed reviews.
Also, Cecilia, your 1st review to Amazon does not go to the review. Your review is here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-re...

Than you for the guidance
Thank you Cecilia and Loralee!
I have started a tally sheet, and your reviews have been noted.
As we get closer to the end, I will start posting the tally sheet here for all to see.
New members, in case this question has crossed your mind, you are free to join another group and get more reviews as soon as your fourth round of reviews is in and has been tallied. I will happily, and proudly, and grandiosely give you the all clear to join other groups. You do not have to wait for the round to officially end.
THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!

Everyone, remember you should have sent your books to the people who are to review you, by now and gotten them from the people whom you are to review. You need to have the ability to send and receive, at least, PDFs, per rule #5 which Rik posted in the first message:
"5. You can provide (and accept) at least PDF files.
You are not expected or required to buy the books you are allocated to review, but as this will give a ‘Verified Purchase’ review on Amazon, it is welcomed when you choose to do so. Many authors have books available via KU and others might provide smashwords coupons. Most authors can provide mobi and/or epub files directly by email. Please note: International Copyright laws apply. You cannot sell, or give away material you have received without the author’s express permission."
