Add Book Three to Series

Hi there!

Can you please add Pain's Liberation to The Price of Love series? Pain's Liberation is set in the same universe as books one and two of the series. It follows two characters that appeared in the first two books as minor characters.

Also, Pain's Liberation has been updated with its cover art on Amazon and I would love to see that translate over, as well.

Series updated. Before I do anything else since I noticed too late, can you confirm that no ARCs or other copies ever existed with the cover that was uploaded before? The one that is was all black (looked like a placeholder to me that's why I replaced it and your request). Because I noticed after replacing that for the first too books your created ACEs, so now I'm confused.

Note: If there's no reply I'm going to revert my edit to be on the safe side. I just don't want to make a bigger mess by reverting and then reverting my revert until I get the author's statement.

No problem. A placeholder cover might become a "permanent" cover if the book was issued as an ARC with the placeholder on it. Can you confirm whether the placeholder was ever used? It’s not entirely clear.

If the placeholder wasn’t used, it should simply be replaced—meaning the placeholder image is deleted and the actual cover is uploaded in its place. You need to post in this group for that, as authors can't make those changes themselves. If the placeholder was used, that’s when you’d create an ACE edition, because the old cover that readers received would need to be preserved. Creating an ACE edition instead of requesting a cover change would be a misuse of the ACE tool.

In the future, when requesting a cover change, it would be helpful to mention if the cover is a placeholder that was never used, just to avoid any potential misunderstandings. We also need to be cautious, as our librarian rights could be revoked for changing covers incorrectly.
