I'm an experienced editor looking to assist authors with editing and formatting their novels. I currently work as a freelance editor for works translated into English (American).
Some notes: - American English by default, but I'm comfortable working with British and Australian English (terminology, spellings, idioms, etc.) Additionally, if the other would like their novel converted from BE/AE to American English that is included. - I work with the Merriam-Webster Dictionary and Chicago Manual of Style. - Page formatting is included in my pricing. - Payment in U.S. Dollars. 50% down payment required, final 50% required upon completion.
I edit a flat rate of $3.50 USD per page. Turn around time can be anywhere from 1-3 weeks. If a rush order is needed, price per page becomes $4+ depending on how soon.
For beta reading I offer a flat rate of $150 USD, regardless of page count.
Notes on beta reading: - Does not include meticulous editing services, but I will highlight any grammatical errors, misspellings, improper use of idioms, etc. to the author as long as they are apparent on first pass. - I will deliver a write up on your novel, highlighting inconsistencies, plot holes, general points of improvement for the story, any apparent errors outlined above, as well as any additional notes I took on your novel as I read through.
Genres Preferred: - Romance (dark/taboo, romantasy, shifter, M/M, F/F, RH, etc.--all types welcome!) - Fantasy - Historical Fiction - YA
