Cover not updated in search

Hi there -- I'm back here again with a similar issue to the one I had a few months ago with my first book in this series. I added a "partial cover" to Amazon, which GoodReads then took and put up on their site. I could not then delete it when I had my cover reveal (today), so I made an alternate cover edition. I also have it changed on Amazon. I merged the two pages and made the page with the REAL cover the "main" page. It's still showing up as the partial cover every time I search it though. It seems to have merged, but the whole point of making the new cover edition was so that people would see the actual cover when they searched.

In case this info is necessary, I have never given out a book with this "partial cover" on it, not even an ARC copy. There is literally no edition that exists with this cover.

Anyway, hoping someone can help me out with this. TIA.

Really, the cover should've just been changed. So you should've posted in the book cover folder for that.

Now it needs to be merged by a Super.

Having an ACE, means we keep the old cover, it stays forever.

Okay, so I'm just confirming: from now on, each time I release a book and put the partial cover up first on Amazon, I'm going to have to ask you guys to change it here, right? I didn't want to bug you guys every time, but it looks like that's going to be the only way to do it. I just want to make sure I understand.

Yes, that's correct.

Try to post before the book goes live, and always advise whether the placeholder cover has been used as an ARC etc.
