dally, he's just such an interesting character. and it’s nice to see his kinder side near the end

Dally- for all the things he went through and for all the things he cared for and loved yet never acted upon.

Dally! He didn't have a good home life or loving parents, so he thought of Pony and Johnny as his own. Thats why he helped them and why he ran into the fire after them to help save those kids, even though he didn't want to. He may seem like a tuff looking guy, but he risked his life for his two friends and for little kids that he didn't even know.

Soda! his personality is scrumptious!

Soda is probably my favorite book character of all time! He is just so sweet, such an amazing brother, and has such a positive attitude. I enjoy every scene with him in it, and constantly find myself rereading his scenes :)

DALLAS ALL THE WAY!!! I love how his relationships work, and how tragic his character is, his death scene was one of the only times I've ever cried during books. (my favorite genres are historical fiction and dystopian sooooo...) Also least favorite character is cherry TOP THREE BAD CHERRY MOMENTS: #1 "your brother is soda right? he's a doll." SHE HAS A BOYFRIEND. #2 "I hope I never see Dallas Winston again, if I do, I'll probably fall in love with him" SHE HAS A BOYFRIEND. #3 "Hey Cherry, Johnny is on his death bed, will you go visit him in the hospital?" Cherry: "No, he killed Bob, well, I know he was asking for it, but still no" WHAT

can't choose a favourite personally love all the greasers (like the main 7) buttt i severely dislike the parents (sh i know it's not their fault but i blame them) coz if they didn't go and die then darry wouldn't get stressed and hit pony then johnny wouldn't kill anyone then they never woulda found the damn fire then johnny and dally would be there still :(

I especially fond of soda and darry and Steve I'll re-read the book one more time for them

I think my favorite character is Dally, mostly because of his character development. I love the fact that he starts out with a sort of "I'm tough and cold-hearted" attitude, and throughout the book, he opens up. He reacted the worst when Johnny died, which would've been unexpected from the start of the book. My least favorite character was Cherry. Sure, she ultimately helped with easing the tension between the greasers and soc's, however, I didn't like her split views for a portion of the book. She wanted to be friends with Ponyboy, but didn't want to acknowledge him in school to protect her "status," It's a likely scenario, but that makes her my least favorite.
