narnia is great and percy jackson is a classic. id say v.e. schawb is a safe bet too, but i never made it past book 2 in her magic smth series bc i got bored.

the six of crows duology is amazing and the side romances are some of my favorites! (the whole Grishaverse tbh)

if you like faeries and/or a book that’s heavily focused on politics and scheming i’d suggest The Folk Of The Air series by Holly Black (it can get dark and weird but it’s so fun)

I haven’t read the Legendborn cycle by Tracy Deon yet (they’re on my physical TBR) but it is a YA fantasy with no smut that i’ve heard very great things about so i’d try that too!
