Killer Clown Roundup

C: The Gruesome Gigglers (Ind-Michelle)
I also have books that work for any letter, if Tori doesn't care, I suggest A just to help make the decision :)
It looks like we have all finsihed our books for this round. Do we have a nominee for our next attack?I have no preference but for suggestions sake, Cleaver and Lil Miss Clever keep catching my eye.
The Clowns
*Sweet Tooth
*Pennywise
*Killjoy
*Kent McCoy
*Stitches
*Captain Spaulding
*Violator
*Twisty
*Joker
*Cleaver & LIl Miss Cleaver
*Ribcage
*The Heads
*The Lunatics
*Horny
*The Laugh
*Shivers
*Tickles
I was thinking either Cleaver or Captain Spaulding. Although I also wouldn't be opposed to Kent McCoy.
Cleaver & Lil Miss Cleaver

The Cleaver was a man who found a job as a clown but then came home to discover his wife was having an affair. He put on his clown suit and then killed her and her lover. The cops showed up and he ran off laughing. He disappeared but children also disappeared every year and someone was always found butchered at the same time. He is looking for his daughter, whom he had left behind and was put up for adoption. Once he finds her, it becomes a family business! The Cleavers are known for setting traps and enjoy torturing their victims.

hey guys just checking in. I'm going to be pretty sparse in the reading until after Wednesday....both my partner and I found bed bugs this week in our respective houses and there is tons for us to do before the exterminator comes.
Checking in, I'm working on a few books. I just sent my fiance off to North Carolina last night so I have a ton of free time now
I just finished arm 2. I will be going out of town tomorrow and won't be back until Tuesday. I'm not sure how much reading I will be getting done, but I'm hoping a couple of books.
it turns out I only had carpet beetles. still a nuisance but not quite the level of bedbugs. my place was still sprayed and I did all the decluttering and cleaning that they recommend for bed bugs. but it was a bit of overkill. my partner does have bed bugs so there has been a lot of work done at his place. and he gets his 2nd spray this Thursday. I get to cat sit Thursday as my partner has two cats and it reaffirms our decision to not move in together.... I much much prefer dogs and he's a firm cat lover. my little terrier is spending her time 2 hours away at my son's. I'll hopefully have her home this coming Saturday.
Thanks Michelle. Do you have a next clown in mind?I'm just finishing my last book and should be done today
Oh man, I'm so sorry. I had a bunch of chaos happen but I got my books updated and completed. I was thinking we could do Pennywise next
I'm not sure if you saw this message from Donna over in the sign uos thread..."Those of you playing competitively...
This competitive challenge will end at the end of the month. However, you have some decisions to make. Your team can continue playing non-competitively for as long as you like. This can be as a team of 2 or 3. If you play as a team of two, you will rotate who takes on the extra task.
If one of you wants to play and nobody else does, this is NOT an issue. I have made an individual option. The individual player will play alone and only read one book per task (unless they want to read 3 books per task- that is ok also).
So start thinking about this. At the end of the month, please let me know how your team will move forward.'
I want to continue to play. What are your thoughts on this?
Pennywise (IT)

IT is a shapeshifting creature from the species known as Deadlights. IT arrived on Earth in an event similar to an asteroid impact landing in Derry, Maine. Once people settled here, IT adopted a 25-27 year hibernation, waking to kill and eat.
Its true form seems to be a female spider but it can morph into any human animal, nonhuman animal or object, and any combination thereof. There are benefits to this ability because IT can manipulate its targets by appearing as loved ones to lure them into traps or as their worst fears. It's favorite form is that of a clown named "Pennywise" because small children love clowns. At the same time, many people fear clowns.
IT feeds on humans but prefers children as they are easier to scare and manipulate. According to the creature, frightened flesh tastes better and uses fear to "salt the meat".
To capture IT, he must be in his clown form or he will trick you. You must force him into his clown form BEFORE you chain him up. Spell out CLOWN. Then complete the chains below.

I will definitely play until we finish Pennywise. I'm not sure if I can commit to finishing the whole kaboodle.
I've also filled in the spreadsheet with the tasks for this round. Is anyone working on a letter for the Spell out?
Thanks for filling out the SS. I was going to start working on the letter "C", but would not be able to get to it until tomorrow. However if anyone wants that letter instead, I am able to do any of the other letters.
Have you guys read my post in the Q&A?

I will need this answer soon.

I have the C & O done on Clown.L and N are left. I have a couple of books that I am currently reading for another challenge. As soon as I get them done I can see what letter is left and read for another letter unless someone else gets to them first.
It stinks that none of the books I am currently reading fit.
Thanks Michelle. I'm about halfway through my W. My partner is leaving Friday for 9 days in a fly in mining camp and he's an anxious ball of stress because of his fear of flying and the trip is very last minute. Needless to say not a lot of reading has been getting done. Once he leaves, I'll have more time.

I don't blame him for being nervous about flying. I would be to.
Hey ToriThe books you completed, Hunt Me! I Crave the Chase & Devil May Lie can't be used because the spellout of clown has to be done first and we are still missing the W & N. It's up there in Post 80.
Okay, I am finally finished and got my book logged. Who were we interested in next? I was thinking maybe Ribcage?
Before we can go on what happened to wishbear's completions posts? She is missing from the SS all of a sudden. She was supposed to finish Pennywise with us. If not, we will need to read for her tasks before we can go on.
