Talk to Me from the Sloan Brothers series has a cell phone on the cover for TW; it’s super short but we could do a buddy read, Lisa, for SKELETAL
I'm up for it if you are--I don't feel like deciding anything, and I bet those will go super fast. I scanned them both for SH, and they seem like easy reads.
I say let's do both. I got the first Buddy Read thread already. OK to start on Sunday with Book 1?
Have any ideas for Balloon on Cover?

Yes, Sunday works for me, and I’m reading a litfic for balloon, Up With the SunI recently read and loved The Uncanny Aviator.
Why not? that works for me. I have started the first of the cell phone books, but haven't posted yet.

I started posting, but then got distracted by a Kindle Sale...Just bought 23 books for $12.
There are bunch in the series with The Dating Disaster that are free right now.

I have a question... What task were Lisa & Kirsten reading for? Ribcage leg 1 says: Read a chain of 3 books with all the letters of SKELETAL in the title/series. I don't see anything about a cell phone on the cover.
TALK mE SLoan brothErs Talk to Me from the Sloan Brothers series has all the letters of SKELETAL. Lisa and I are also playing Turf Wars, and that round coincided with this one; a task there was reading books with cell phones on the cover. We double dipped.
Ok, that explains it. You should have put that in your justification instead of cell phone on cover. I didn't think to look at the series. The whole cell phone thing threw me off.

@MN Lisa: Yes, it does. They are investigating an adulterous husband.@Jackie: Do you have any interest in Missing White Woman as a buddy read? I think I'm going to use that one for disappearing.
Also, I'm planning to read Home Before Dark for daughter in book. I think it should work since the MC has inherited a supposedly haunted house from her father. Kirsten, would you be interested in doing a buddy read for it?
That is on my tbr, so I would normally say yes, but the book I'm reading right now has a daughter in it so I think I will stick with that (it doesn't fit anything else). But I am glad to do Missing White Woman with you.
Not til TW is over, and I’ve finished the 2 books holding us up on Wheel. So 1.5 TW books (will finish tomorrow) and 2 days for those long wheel books. But thanksgiving. And grading. Thursday or Friday?
Is that okay? I’m also tempted to read the Decker book with you, bc no adoption is popping into my head and Lisa’s book is motorcycle club, which I don’t like. Same schedule, if you can wait on those.
Friday sounds good. It’s going to be a busy week with Thanksgiving and all. Let me know if you want to buddy read the Decker one.
I have actually read The Ritual Bath. I don't really remember most of it, but I was fascinated by the religious rules in place for that community.
Have you guys read my post in the Q&A?

I will need this answer soon.

I'm planning to start my last book for Cleaver tomorrow. I should probably be able to finish it then too.
Thanks, Lisa. I never turned off my notifications or erased my bookmarks for this challenge--my heart is still here!I did message Donna asking to come back.
