message 1: by Jenny Baker (new)

Jenny Baker (jennyrbaker) Sometimes, I'll come across a review from someone who comments that they reread a certain book every year or that they've read it X number of times. I don't think I've reread a book more than twice, because I keep thinking about all the books I haven't read once, even though I have favorites I want to reread. What book have you reread the most? How many times have you reread it and why is it a favorite?

Aideen | 18 comments I've reread Wings of fire and scum villain self saving system numerous times and I'm currently rereading wings of fire. for me it's because I've read both a long time ago and when I want something familiar and simple I like reading them again.

message 46: by YAQOUB (new)

YAQOUB HABBAS | 2 comments I can relate! Until now, I’ve never really reread a book, either. There’s much to explore, and every new title feels like a fresh adventure. I know there are classics and beloved favorites that deserve a second read, but with our limited time, I can’t help but dive into the next great story. It constantly balances between revisiting the familiar and discovering the new.

Jannelies (living between hope and fear) Eline Veere by Louis Couperus ❤️. I read this one at least once every two years.
Because of the sad story, because it's so beautifully written. It's one of the greatest books in Dutch literature.
