Can’t remember the name of a book I read 10 years ago, help!!!!

Okay, I read a book years ago about a girl from Ireland who went to New York for the summer in the 80s and fell inlove with this Italian guy- ITS NOT BROOKLYN I LOVE BROOKLYN BUT ITS DIFFERENT- the girl went back got married had a baby and ends up back in New York at the end. I can’t remember the author or name but I want to read it again. Help me please!!!
