Where did the book go?

So, the strangest thing happened to me and it confuses the hell out of me...

A couple of hours ago, while working on fulfilling the requests, I added a new edition (F. Domela Nieuwenhuis - 9789079395026) of an already existing book

Everything seemed fine, but a couple of hours has passed and the one who requested the book to be added contacted me, telling me the link I sent him was not working.

That was not that unusual (I mean we all know it happens from time to time when Goodreads decides to be difficult), but the thing is... I both can and cannot find the book at the same time.

The link I sent worked just fine while I was using the app (couldn't find the book by searching by ISBN tho), but it didn't work while I tried clicking on it while using the desktop version. The ISBN search does not work either (I am getting "page not found").

Now, I know that can happen if the book was deleted or marked as invalid, but I checked the changelog and couldn't see any edits (including mine). It does however look as if the OG record was updated around the same time I added the newer edition.

I tried adding the ISBN again (just to see if the book would pop out as deleted), but I got "Page not found" yet again.

SO, I guess my questions are - WHERE did the book (newer edition) go If there is no sign of it being deleted? And does the link works for you guys (app/desktop)? Do you think this is just a site functionality issue and I should simply wait it out or should I contact the support? What do you guys think? :-D

The link is working for me atm (through the browser version of GR). Searching by ISBN appears to be working too.

This has happened to me a couple of times, it usually takes a few hours to become findable again.

Thanks guys :-) I guess it must have been some sort of glitch then. Everything works for me now too.
