Um, Lindsay, personally I have nothing against homosexuals. But, come on, remember in AGATB when she knew so much about sex, and the lesbian poets? It was most definitely obvious. Pippa could've just been using boys because it was socially acceptable and was really thinking about girls. She could've also, like Lisa said, just been confused.
wait i dont remember that! when did all of this happen? like all the lesbian poets and sex stuff

Because I don't think she was in love with Fee in the first book. I think their relationship started in TSFT.

They were talking about lesbians.
Do you go to a catholic school? Because if so you're probably going to get a good grade. I think it's stupid. Gay people are people. Just like you and me. Deal. With. It.

It's not something they do. You can't help who you love. Can you help being attracted to guys? Well, they can't help who they are. Neither can you.

Yeah, some people do like someone of the same gender, but doesn't mean they're mistaking themselves for being gay.
So you're saying no one is born hetrosexual then? Who you are attracted to and fall in love with is a choice then, hmm?

No, there are not randomly more people who are homosexual. There are more people coming out about it. It's becoming accepted because you change who people are. You can't choose who you are attracted to and who you fall in love with. You have no choice in that.
thats wat i think it doesn't matter that much weather they r gay or lebian or not really since they didn't always like each other

Now, let me just ask you one question:
Who the hell would pick a life where their constantly being insulted and harassed? No one would pick that.
Who the hell would pick a life where their constantly being insulted and harassed? No one would pick that.

JUST because they voted for Proposition 8? That's taking away their right to MARRY. That's not worthy of a JUST. If their harassing them, then that's wrong, but they have the right to be angry. What if someone took your right away to marry? I just don't understand the hate.
people are only getting harrassed by people who are very rude and preposition 8 shoulden't of even been made a law cuz it should be whatever anyone wants if they want to be gay go ahead if they dont thats fine 2.

*small voice* i kinda agree. But, and i don't know if either of u mentioned this, i don't think you can help who you love.

*rubs forhead* Bleg... I really shouldn't get into this. But... I'm just gonna put my two cents in. Being gay isn't normal in my opinion. Humans are meant to, well, reproduce. It's how we survive. If you put a bunch of people of the same gender on an island, they would die out, end of story. Whether they were gay or not. Now, like lindsay said, I have NOTHING against gay people themselves! Ellen is like my favorite talk show person and she's very publicly a lesbian. Does that make me say ew, that's gross? no. I respect how she feels, it's what she is, like how i'm a republican, some people are democrats, or anything else that makes us so wonderfully different in this world. I'm probably not making much sense, becuase tho i don't think you choose who you love, i do think you choose to be gay. Which really doesn't make sense. But in the end, there's somehting about a marriage about a man and a woman, something right, that just isn't there for two men or two women. But that's just me, and I'm probably too biased to really debate this, but, i'll say it again, i have nothing against gay people. I just... bleg, i can't explain it. But i hate it when people say that i'm discriminating because my family voted yes on prop 8, and i agree. there was a phase when my friends didn't talk to me and my other friend that much cuz we were the only republicans, and our families voted yes, and that was awful.
But yeahz...tho that made no sense to anyone but me, that's what i think on this debate. plz don't bite my head off. *hides in the corner*

Well, I respect everyone's opinion, but frankly, I don't think you have a choice about who you are attracted to.

I'm not going to change your opinion, I'm aware of this. But I don't think you can choose who you love, bottom line.
yep totally agree with Emma
ur attracted to who ever u r attracted to
ur attracted to who ever u r attracted to
*giggles* AdamandEve, not AdameandSteve...hahahahahahahhahahahaha
um. sry. ruining the tenseness here. but me thinks that ish funny.
sigh. i do think that a marriage is sacred. and tho i don't think u chose who u r attracted 2, u can choose to b gay or not, tho that only much sense in my twisted mind logic. but i don't hv a problem with gay people, and therefore no problem with fee and pip. end of story.

And why exactly? So many people are divorcing, and I think it's great if people are willing to give a chance on love. Who cares if they're the same sex?

Or a girl and a girl. 1. No one in this group hates you. I just strongly dissagree with you. 2. You're not being sensible. Not ALL of us are gay, there's still plenty of us here to reproduce.

I don't hate you. I have plenty of friends who are anti gay-rights. I just disagree with you. I don't believe that the bible is 100 percent true. The bible says a lot of things.

Frankly, I'm an agnostic, but the bible also says you beat your wife and sell your daughter into slavery. There is no absolutely correct translation. The story of Lillith was in the bible before too. Things get taken out and added. The only actual true one would be the original one.

the whole point to love is not to repruduce but if u like some one it doesn't matter if can't reproduce who CARES
