Darius the Great Is Not Okay Read it in less than a week, I really connected with the main character it was sweet and sad but in a really meaningful way. It holds a very special place in my heart. It would be a shame to talk about the book without bringing it's cultural ties up, I learned a lot about Iran and it's culture, it really broadened my view of Persian culture and traditions. The main character is relatable and witty and he has a real way with words that can only credit to the author. I fell in love with his writing throughout the book. I guess it deals with some heavy and uncomfortable topics but it's very much worth it in my opinion.
One of the best coming of age books, I've read in a long time. I highly recommend it.
