Humble Sci-Fi Book Bundle

Does anyone have any feedback on the books offered in this bundle? I have never heard of most of the authors.

Some of the authors are Kevin J. Anderson, Brian Herbert (who I've heard of, of course) and a few others. Never heard of most of these books. What do you think, is it worth the $10.73 for the whole shebangle?

Frank Herberts Godmakers is the only one that interests me really.

Kevin J. Anderson is decent. Cat Rambo's pretty good.

Depends. Is it worth $10.73 to sample a bunch of authors you haven't heard of? ;).

Their schtick seems to be taking one decent book you could buy used for a buck, throwing in some other stuff, and selling it for ten.

I see Anderson's name thrown around all the time, however the only books I've read that had his name attached to them were the first three Dune prequels that he wrote with Brian Herbert. And they were three of the most horrendous books I've ever read...and that's before considering the harm they did to Frank Herbert's masterpiece.

After that fiasco, I swore off both writers. It would take an awful lot to get me to consider reading anything they've written.
