Is Glow by Raven Kennedy worth reading?

I'm currently on page 323, and nothing of significance has happened yet. I'm kinda losing patience. So... is it worth continuing or not?

I found this book to be a bit slow through the middle. I think the needed transition events between book 3 and book 5 were a bit dragged out through most of Glow, but it did pick up at the end for me. I am enjoying Gold (book 5).
