Hi, I hope you can help. I’m trying to find a book for my dad which he read when he was young. He read it in the 70’s in Scotland but it could have been written in the 50’s or 60’s.
It’s an about a young boy who lived in a dump, he was transported to Mars.
In the book there was;
- Facial recognition - specifically trained police that could track characteristics
- The North Pole?
- The boy Meets aliens and overthrows president.

I know this is vague and sounds like a completely wild plot but if anyone can help that would be great!
