Danial is of Korean descent and his parents have planned his life for him. He is to attend Yale and become a doctor, but Danial's passion is poetry. Natasha is an undocumented Jamaican immigrant who believes in science and the order of things. When they meet Danial is on his way to an admissions interview and Natasha is trying to find a way to keep her family from being deported that night. Over the course of just a day these two seemingly different people fall in love and discover they aren't as different as they think.

I loved this book. It was so sweet and full of feelings. It is a YA book and there are many instances that Danial and Natasha run into each other again that realistically most likely wouldn't happen, but I was ok with that. Along with the chapters told by Danial and Natasha there were chapters by and about some of the lesser characters in the story. I enjoyed these and thought they added to the thought of how we are all really interconnected. This was a definite five star book for me.
