From what I can recall, the book begins with a girl who is dead and she has a key in her hand. She walk down the hallway of her apartment and the key doesn’t work for her door. She tried the keys in different doors but they don’t work. I have a vague memory of her seeing other people and they are dead (ghosts) I’m not sure. I read the beginning of the book 8-9 years ago. HELP!
