Monthly what are you reading threads

So traditionally I have created new what are you reading threads every month. I'm not entirely sure the reasoning at this point. Maybe just to keep things more recent and/or avoid the bugginess of very old/long running threads.

However the number of posts each month has gone down. Do people still prefer monthly threads? Would a yearly thread make more sense at this point?

Yearly would certainly make it easier to scroll-search for a book that got mentioned but the title has been forgotten. Easier for you, too.

that was my thinking. I was originally considering swapping to yearly in January, although I can always just make a yearly thread for 2024 and we can use that for the rest of the year too
