Has anyone ever bought a book that has missing pages?

I bought this book and I fell in love with its quality and everything but then I reached its mid and it had 10 missing pages, I wanted to bawl because I hate this. I read the missing parts online and then resume the physical book from where it's not missing pages. But that's still sad. So just wanted to ask what do you guys do when something like this occurs?

My copy of people we meet on vacation by emily henry is missing the last few pages of the epilogue. I went to the store and took pics of the missing pages to read at home. I think it's cool that I have a missprint since it doesnt happen that often and there was a fairly easy solution.

im not sure if my case counts but once i bought a book where the pages were backwards

not exactly missing pages but my copy of mistborn has two pages that are just completely black. like, no words are showing at all its unreadable lol

don’t know if it counts but I once bought a book that has misspelled words and some gaps where the words were supposed to be. Still have it at home because I bought it in a second hand market in Italy.

I’ve never had a book that is missing pages, but have you guys ever had a book that has like extra long pieces of paper attached to the page just sticking out the side, so ugly

the book i’m reading rn is missing the first chapter. I just read the preview on goodreads and now i’m all good for the rest of the book

this has happened to me! it was one of books in the throne of glass series. it was only one book but it was missing around 8 pages total.

One time I just had blank pages in the middle of a book not really the same but weird

My copy of Flashback by Shannon Messenger. There were pages from later in the book.

Hmmm i once got a book which had one blank page and i drew on that coz why not , not the smartest choice but better than keeping it blank 😂🫢
