My library carries the books by Hilari Bell so I think they'll have it for me ... you can always look around the internet and see if they have the whole book on somewhere.

Yeah, I love Greek mythology, but those books seemed boring to me. Like, junvenile. Idk, I read The Shadow Thieves and I didn't like it. Maybe I'll check out The Siren Song and see if it's better.

The books that are suggested don't sound like SH at all to me, besides them having magic or paranormal in the book.
I looked at Barnes & Noble website the book suggestions for people who liked SH were Leven Thumps Series, The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel, Magic Thief, Charlie Bone, Percy Jackson, Inkheart, and Peter and the Starcatchers.

Those are all good series suggestions. It seems that most fantasy books are series. Some single books that I think are like SH are Princess Academy, Pillage and Fairest. Series I like include The Goose Girl, The Sea of Trolls, and The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. All three of these are initial books of a series but would be a good read on their own as well, especially The Goose Girl.
