Light From Uncommon Stars by Ryka AokiPossibly the most unique book I read all year, and actually so good.
this is my time to shine omggirl. in. pieces!!!!!! I swear, I can't go a day without thinking about this book 😭
A love letter to whiskey.. I'm currently waiting for my physical copy to re read it again. Between the writing Kandi S did to the story line the book was so beautifully written and story gripping.. I laughed, cried, was frustrated, but I think about the book often.
There are a few books I have read this year that I can't stop thinking about, but the main one is; The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. It's a true masterpiece.
A Court of Wings and Ruin… the bat boys will forever have my heart. Plus, ACOTAR was my first series I fully read and wow…
Even though I only finished it only a few weeks ago I think about it almost every day Normal People Sally Rooney
mindfuck series it's like oh my god I so wanted a strong FMC in dark romance and there it is Lana. You'll fall in love with her and on top of that it is crime thriller also so everything in one
powerless - I haven't read the new one yet.from blood and ash series
every last word - incredible book
the eyes are the best part - super disturbing
if he had been with me - I've never cried so much over a book. this still hurts my heart.
Red Queen, Bridgerton, Carrie Soto Is Back, Aristoteles And Dante Discover The Secrets Of The Universe!!!
”The Seven Year Slip,” by Ashley Poston — got me through my reading slump and I still think about it constantly! 🍋💛
the kite runner,little life,
the woman,
midnight library,
eleanor oliphant is completely fine,
the night circus,
Acotar series,
And The Mindf*ck series.
that would definitely be It Was a Riotfirst, because it's the first book that i've read this year that is out of my usual romance genre. i rarely enjoy non-romance books but when i do, they stick on me
second, it was emotional for me in a different way. the story telling, the dialogues, the events, the people, the mc's character, everything is beautifully written. it tugs my heart to know what the mc went through all his life just to get his father's acceptance, and how (i think) majority of the lgbtq community is experiencing the same or even worse.
last, it was an eye-opener for me. i am aware of the struggles and realities of being gay but reading the first person pov of the mc, i realized my awareness is very shallow. there's more to it and it's heartbreaking just thinking that this is actually happening in real life and people are actually experiencing this
