Elyse (winesaboutbooks) | 2914 comments July 26 8pm to July 27 8pm but I'm going to do 24-in-48 July 26 8pm to July 28 8pm to make it easier for myself and get a little more "me-time" this weekend away from Bastien! I was 13 weeks pregnant for last year's Reverse Readathon which is WILD to think about! And now Bastien is 6 months old!

I am also posting on the Goodreads group: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
and Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/winesaboutb...

Elyse (winesaboutbooks) | 2914 comments Opening Event Survey
1) What part of the world are you reading from today?
New Hampshire, USA
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
The Ruins, hoping it scares me to stay awake!
3) Which snacks are you most looking forward to?
Didn't plan snacks but have leftover store-bought M&M cookies from last night's family gathering so them! I do have Ben & Jerry's ice cream too though...😋
4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I have a 6-month-old boy who is on the verge of crawling!
5) What are your goals for this readathon?
Try and get as much "me-time" as I can lol

Half-Point Progress Report
1) How many books have you been reading? Have you finished any? Are you on track with respect to your readathon goals so far?
I've only been reading from one book so far and I haven't finished it.
2) Have you eaten real food today? (Not just junk food, ACTUAL HEALTHY FOOD) What was your favorite food or beverage so far?
I haven't eaten anything *during* the readathon yet since supper was before and I got up at 10am so I've just had coffee. About to have a bowl of Frosted Mini Wheats though.
3) Are you growing sleepy? Do you plan to nap, or stop early, or are you extending the readathon hours to include sleep?
Bastien slept 10pm-6:30am and I read until 11ish. Fed Bastien and took him into bed with us and he slept for a little bit. Rick got up at 8:30am with Bastien and I slept till 10! Much happy.
4) 5 senses check-in- What are you seeing, hearing, tasting, touching and smelling now?
Seeing-Computer screen and sunshine
Hearing-Bastien babbling
Tasting-Coffee.
Touching-The keyboard and mouse. And coffee mug!
Smelling-Coffee
5) How is your readathon going, overall?
I'm mostly enjoying my book and hoping to get some more "me-time" today.

Closing Survey
1) How many books did you read during this readathon? Did you have any favorites?
Two. No favorites.
2) How many books did you finish?
Two.
3) Did you accomplish your goals for this readathon?
Yes because I had no goals!
4) How did your snacks and meals work out? Are there things you would change about the food and beverages side of your readathon for next time?
Hey, I had breakfast, French fries for lunch, an early supper, and ice cream. So, yes, they worked out great. 🤣 Next time, drink more water. I drank a lot of Arizona tea - sweet and unsweetened mixed.
5) Did you enjoy this readathon? What was the most successful part of your readathon? What would you change for next time?
I always enjoy it! I'm pleased with my amount of reading. I'll hopefully get more sleep beforehand next time.
6) Will you be continuing your readathon reading past the end of our official readathon?
Yes, I will be doing 24-in-48!
