It’s about a girl who lives in a small town, but people come in to see her dad. He is famous for being able to take away memories and putting them away in jars. Her dad starts to teach her how to take memories so he tells to take away the memory of what he ate but instead she sees her dead mom. She remembers that her mom would call he ladybug and wanted to travel. She starts looking more into it and sees this guy she hates (might be named Marco) that is the son of her dad’s assistant as well as the mayors nephew. Her and Marco found that they used to date until they were separated and lost their memories when they got closer to the truth that the memories were sold to the mayor. The mayor turned out to be evil and used the girl’s dad, (I think the mayor also killed her mom because she tried to run away).

That’s all I remember about it and I read it in 2022-2023 the cover had a girl with her eyes blurred out and the title written there.
