What do you guys think about AI generated covers?

AI generated book covers, yea or nay? Specifically, AI generated humans, vs real cover models? Would you like such a cover or do you find it creepy and immediately zero in on the artificial aspect? Do you even look at the cover long enough to make the judgment?

I hate AI generated humans. Real humans are much much MUCH better. but personally, I don't like people on the covers, but if you must put one, then definitely a real person.

Not for me, as a creative themselves, why would an author not want to support another artist? It gives me bad ideas about the author, and yes I will judge a book by its cover as if they are too lazy to get one made properly, then this will be reflected in their writing. (I understand not all authors control this, but still - I would be very upset if my publisher used ai for my book)

I think ai art looks cool, but it ha seen taking over normal traditional artists who put time and effort into their work.
so ai book covers are not my thing .

I recently saw AI art of tangled as a gothic fantasy and bro… that shit was really cool. I think it depends on your vibe. For me personally, any cover art can be cool whether it’s AI or humans. I think AI grants a new level of freedom tho, such as the tangled gothic fantasy reimagining

Since I've asked the question, let me give my two cents - I'd like to love it, since the freedom would be unimaginable. But, for some reason I always seem to recognize AI generated stuff and not in a good way. I don't know what it is exactly, but there's this slight underlay of creepy around the image. Somehow like something's not there. This is probably gonna sound stupid, but, empty of soul? Can't describe it better. I found rising amount of AI generated covers lately, thought to ask if it's only me.

I judge a book by its cover for fk sure. In my opinion, humans made by AI are so fake and usually not 100% realistic. So it's a no for me.
