Martin | 36236 comments That shows something issued in 2017, not the 1950 edition at Goodreads link.
When submitting cover images please always link to source webpage, not direct to image, as we need to check details.

c h r i s | 100 comments The pamphlet was originally written in the 1950's.

Stasis Vol.5 the publisher listed on Goodreads, published the pamphlet in 2017.

This information is directly written on the cover of the pamphlet. It's even in the book description.

Martin | 36236 comments If you feel details are incorrect in Goodreads listing you can post a request for correction giving sources at 'book & author page issues'
The listing shows an ISSN in the ISBN field so that will probably require staff involvement also.
This folder is only for book cover help and not for these more complex issues.

Martin | 36236 comments It may not even be a valid entry for Goodreads.
A journal without ISBN needs to be a literary journal to be valid here. The website for Stasis describes it as 'An International Journal in Social and Political Philosophy and Theory'

c h r i s | 100 comments you're like the master of sabotage by following the rules too close

Martin | 36236 comments As librarians we have to follow site rules or we lose the right to edit, if that happens we can no longer assist others.

c h r i s | 100 comments This standard is inappropriate, not lenient enough. If this standard is applied to every book and every interaction, a great many thousands of perfectly fine books will be removed, worsening the site, also creating a mountain more work for librarians.

message 9: by Martin (new)

Martin | 36236 comments Talk to staff, librarians are volunteers and do not set the standards.

c h r i s | 100 comments It is your choice how you choose to enforce the standards, or to look the other way. Creating too many rules for micro problems is no help, just the same as being too lenient. Maybe we found some problems we weren't meant to find?
