Combining editions with workIDs

Hallo.
I don't understand how to combine editions with work IDs. Is there a step-by-step-tutorial? I know how to find the IDs, but not what to do that both editions show up on the same page, so I can combine them.
In this case:
26990868 & 13901719
Anyone to the rescue?

Hi, on the combine page, enter the two IDs as: 26990868,13901719

There should be no blank space between the IDs, and have a comma between them. Sometimes I have to press the 'Find Works' button twice to get a result.
