I think the girl was making a house for fairies or something. She laid moss down on the floor of the tree. She then decorated with other things as well. Not Miss Suzy by Miriam Young.

Years may be 1990s to early 2000s.

nothing on the list looked familiar... I feel like it was part of a series of stories similar to Sophie's Adventures but I don't think it was that book. I'm pretty sure it was a child's novel. not the fairy doll
