A Little Life
question
When was the first time you cried reading?

When was the first time you cried? I saw online that the book was devastating and it is, however I didn't cry until page 737. Granted I wept like a baby from there until the end of the book :P

Hey! I felt unwell reading Dear Comrade but I really started crying weeping tears in the last chapter Lispenard Street. It destroyed me.
I felt quite sick throughout the book and on the verge of tears but I fully broke down on page 792. “Jude,” Harold says to him, quietly. “My poor Jude. My poor sweetheart.” And with that, he starts to cry, for no one has ever called him sweetheart [. . .] “My sweetheart,” Harold says again, and he wants him to stop; he wants him to never stop. “My baby.” And he cries and cries, cries for everything he has been, for everything he might have been”. Seriously havn't been the same since reading this.
