What's in your life today that once seemed like an impossible goal or dream?

Well, let's see: When I saw The Beatles on Ed Sullivan I wanted to grow up and meet Paul McCartney. I grew up and worked at Capitol Records where I did just that! After that, I wanted to be on the radio so at college I worked there before I went pro! Decades later, I wanted to write a novel & got signed to a small publisher (actually 2) and had a trilogy and a two-book deal! And, yes, they were published! Thank God I didn't want to be a brain surgeon! It depends on how badly & seriously you want to do something. I am nothing special, I just knew what I wanted and learned how to get it. (And, amazingly, no sex was involved, LOL)

I couldn't agree more - it depends on how badly and seriously you want something in order to make it happen!

I'll start!
Living in South Lake Tahoe as an author with my husband, two boys, and Golden Retriever named Donut. This once all felt like an impossible dream that was so far off I didn’t know how it’d ever happen. Little by little I created little shifts in my life that went in that general direction. I let the dream consume my thoughts and focus and eventually, it all came together through small constant steps and big brave actions.
