Be Carvalho Is it overrated or not ? I already read ACOTAR

Gwynevere Page 100% read it! it is a very long 8 book series but it is worth it for sure! I would tandem read books 6&7 to make reading a bit easier. TOG changed my life though it is incredible!!

Be Carvalho I never read a book that long that's what I'm afraid .... but thank's I appreciated <3

Gwynevere Page of course!! it is a long book series but it sucked me in and kept me hooked the entire time so def try it out

Brilee Henry 110% worth it! This whole series is amazing. You'll find it slow when you get to Tower of Dawn, but in the end, it's worth it!

Teodora Afram Yeah 100% but do the tandem read since they take place at the same time I found it very enjoyable.

Madelyn Zielke SOOOOOO worth it! I fell in love with this series and the characters, and it got me back into reading!

Ella Wolfe Best series I've ever read, 100% worth it. It keeps you hooked the whole time and you will fall in love with the characters.

kaleninya The series starts slowly, but it does pick up a lot of steam throughout and in my opinion is better written than ACOTAR. Especially if you really like SJM you might actually fall in love with it.
I personally started with Assassin's Blade (which is the prequel book) and that kinda helped me keep going through the first two TOG books because it was a peek at an improved writing style and expanded world building. However everyone is going to tell you something different abut wether you should start with Throne of Glass or Assassin's Blade, so it's really up to you.

Amy Without a doubt! Its miles better than ACOTAR in my opinion.

Erika TOG is my favorite series ever. And, if you've already read ACOTAR, look for easter eggs that connect each series by Ms. Maas :)

Claire James TOG is better than ACOTAR and Crescent City for sure. The plot goes crazy and the characters are all so complex and amazing. But they're not overpowered. TOG is stunning.

Comegetacrepewithme Yes definitely loved this series. Just for the record, the first book is quite misleading in terms of plot, but it just gets better and better. Last book kind of broke me tho.

Brenda Loera I loved ACOTAR and throne of glass but got bored in the second and 3rd book and have not gone back to it yet

mistressswoop It is SO worth it. I would recommend reading Assassin's Blade after Crown of Midnight, so you understand the characters better.

Natalie D 100000000000% worth it. It's my favourite book series.

Starlie YES YES YES! Omg 100%. If I could reread this series for the first time again all my dreams would come true.

Rita E. One of the best fantasy series I have ever read. 100% worth it.

message 19: by Vic (new) - rated it 3 stars

Vic I think the series gets better with the years, but to me the first book was just meh and I had to dnf the second one because it was completely predictable. I would recommend it to people that is starting to read fantasy, though. unpopular opinion: Celaena is not the best female character ever written or the strongest, we keep on seeing written that she is the best assanssin and whatever but her actions do not prove it!!

Rebecca Brady What I would say, is push through! Books 1-3 are good, but books 4-7 are simply *chefs kiss*. Definitely read it!

Zehra Şener thats a incredible series please give a chanceeee

message 22: by Gigi (new) - rated it 5 stars

Gigi YES. My favorite fantasy series to date. I read after ACOTAR, and loved it so much more.

Ainsley 100% worth it and genuinely so much better than ACOTAR.
