So have you read The Feng Shui Detective, Dan? It's the first book in a series.

what ann said. :)

Having some extra time to read sounds good to me. Who are some of your favorite authors?

Thought I'd better drop in and say hello. I'm an Aussie author living all the way over in Perth, Western Australia. I haven't really been so involved with Good Reads until now. I always thought it looked like a huge rabbit hole where you could easily get lost.
However, after exploring it while promoting the upcoming release of my new book Deadly Messengers , I realised what a great place this is. I've now got it all worked out and having fun in the groups and connecting with people all over the place.
I'm quite busy at the moment with the launch, but I will be sure to get back here and hang out once that is over end of September.
I've put my book in your area looking for early readers, so please do ask away for an early copy. It's receiving some wonderful, very humbling reviews.
Take care,
Susan May

My taste in literature is fairly eclectic , as I read a number of different genres. Can't say I have a favorite, nor do I really have a favorite author. I just love a good book and really enjoy discussing books I've read. I participate in a couple of other groups on goodreads.
I am really looking forward to participating in this one !

We are excited to have you join us too. Jump right in where ever you like and we look forward to hearing your thoughts on the group reads and other book talk! We have pretty eclectic tastes too. :)

I hope you both find places here to discuss your favorite books! Mary, I look forward to your comments on The Girl in the Spider's Web.

Sacred Games was based on the twisted violence of the 1947 partition of India to the specter of nuclear terrorism.
If you have already read it, then I will recommend you to read Dongri To Dubai : Six Decades of The Mumbai Mafia
It's a non-fiction, real story and all about organised crime.

Thank you!
Stephen King, Conan Doyle, Christie, Frederick Forsyth, they are all my favourite..

Thank you Carol.
I like these authors mentioned over here.
So looking forward to them...

Sounds interesting. I think I'll give it a try. Thanks for the recommendation.

We look forward to chatting about books with you, and hearing about what you are reading! I imagine you will get some good suggestions here!

Good grief, Jess. 29 books in two months? Impressive. I look forward to hearing the details. Welcome!

What an interesting family history and current gardening /hedgehog support activities you have. It's easy to see where your interest in 20th Century European thrillers was generated. Those family diaries are treasures.
