About a year ago my sister read a book (she was going to give me the link) but can't remember the title or who wrote it.
She is shunned by the town/group and lives by herself in a hut/cabin and one night a monster comes to her door and she lets him in. After they have s*x he can hear her thoughts, and when three others like him come she does the same thing and when theyveach give her a piece of their skin she turns into one of them (accidentally, they didn’t know it would happen). She also said something about they come out at night and kill you for sins or something like that.
