Mine is Archangels blade , tell me how I read 94% of this book. Loved the characters just for her to turn into her partners Dead wife from the BC (thousands of years ago) …. During the gawk gawk. Tell me y’all have read a book that had you GOB SMACKED mad like this , 400 pages of character development for what

Worst book ever for me was Jean Paul Sartre “La Nausee” - no plot whatsoever, no characterisation whatsoever. A lot of pages of unadulterated pretentious drivel: a pound shop Morrissey for the literary world. No redeeming features whatsoever.Having to read it in the original French while at uni didn’t make the experience any less soul destroying. I’ve had more fun watching Dad’s Army reruns.
"The Perfume" by Patrick Suesskind. Just plain awful.
Christine I agree with Perfume. I absolutely hated that book! It was so weird and didn’t make any sense to me. I wish I would have DNF the book.

But I guess there must be some kind of readership out there who likes such weird stuff.
Christine, at least you stopped reading it. I wish I didn’t finish it. I felt like I wasted my time with that book. I didn’t bother watching the movie.
