Thank you to everyone who recommended this charming book this month. It hit just the right notes for me. I read a lot of depressing books this month, and I loved that PBT members discovered wonderful new books and authors to elevate our spirits. I really enjoyed this book. A man’s persistent search for a woman he doesn’t know might have felt creepy. I liked that he himself knew that going through a woman’s purse really didn’t look good. I couldn’t blame his gf for leaving. But the author found a very smart way to flip the story to give it a healthier balance. I also loved Laurent’s relationship with his daughter, and her role in the story.
