short books that will get me out of a slump

It's been a couple of months since I've read a book. One week ago, I started to read again and I started with "The Housemaid." It turns out to be amazing, and I've read the second one too. But I'm in the mood for reading a short book to get back into reading and get out of this slump. I want a book with a twisty plot and not too long.

The Christmas crime novels by Mary Higgins Clark have about 200 to 220 pages only.

I feel this. I'm reading _The Paper Magician_ and was so excited when I picked it up at my library because it is small and thin!

I'm only a chapter in, so I don't know if it is any good yet.
