almas. (diamondxsq) i have exams ongoing, but i'm feeling very slumpy. and i'm scared that once i finish my exams i won't be able to read anything and actually enjoy it. so i'd like to be prepared in advance and i'm really hoping to find some books to get me out of a slump, but also somehow stick with me in my head and earn a spot in my heart. i know i'm very picky, but really, any book will work - just get me out of this slumppppppppppp

Barbara (barbaralovesreading) | 1 comments That's a hard ask because you didn't give any hints as to what you like to read. I'm assuming by zero spice you mean no bad language and no graphic bedroom scenes. I recommend Bride for Kendall which is the first book in the Mail Order Mounties series written be several different authors. It's historical romance with strong heroines. One plus is that each of the books is pretty short so if you don't like it, it doesn't take long to read and they're good when you don't have a lot of time. Good luck with your exams!

almas. (diamondxsq) @Christine Mathieu, a spice book is basically a book that involves a morw sexual/graphically described romance plot. so when i ask for no spice i mean i'd prefer books without such scenes. sometimes it also means bad language. hope that helped :)
