2.5 stars rounded up--no better than the one I listened to, but at least it was much faster on paper.

This will be the last one I read, since it's evident that the things that annoy me about this series will be evident in every book. In this one, a thief who is also a novelist gets caught up in a heist where there ends up being a murder and, naturally, he becomes a suspect. The humour in this book doesn't work for me, which is part of the problem. I started off liking the protagonist in the first one I read, but he leans toward tstl. However, if the humour in this book works for you, you'll probably enjoy it. What saves it is that it is fast moving and there are various twists and turns along the way.
