Jodi Picoult
Melody Carlson
Jana Oliver
This will probably change within a day or so.. I'm pretty indecisive when it comes to favorites.

A close second goes to Joss Whedon.

I can't say I'm a fan of hers(started City of Bones and could not get into it), but I've read a few of her tips and she is very straight forward and clear with them. I imagine many budding writers could benefit from some chats with her.

Wow, thank you so much Liz! I am deeply touched that you would want me as a mentor. You can reach me anytime on my Facebook page if you want to chat one on one, https://www.facebook.com/Darkconfessi...
I try my best to mentor young women who are still trying to find their purpose in this world. I know what it feels like to feel worthless and more importantly, I now know what it is like to feel worthy of a good life. I am always available if you need to talk.

Thank you so much! I will contact you on Facebook tonight. It's nice to see you're as sweet as you seem in your book.

And I've actually met famous authors at a conference in Cambridge once and a particular bestselling author I wouldn't want to find myself in a dark alley with.
I think I'd have J.R.R. Tolkien as my writing mentor and Laurie Halse Anderson as my life mentor. :)
How about you?
