this book is about a wall of cupboards/doors that take anyone who goes through them to different worlds, the main character is a girl that does so. all of the doors have distinct patterns or doorknobs. i think i remember a tree of some sort being important to the plot??? i read this around 2016 i think. unfortunately that is all i can remember, i’m starting to think i dreamed this lol.

I swear I remember this book as well, though I remember it from around 2005. I don't think you dreamed it, but I'm afraid I don't remember the title.

100 Cupboards? Characters are boy and girl cousins (I think the boy came to stay and then the cupboards started to appear). I'm pretty sure they went through the cupboards to other worlds, or at least saw stuff happening through the doors.
