SOLVED. Children's/ Middle Grade chapter book about a girl whose wallpaper comes alive at night. Read in 1960s. [s]

My father is looking for a children's chapter book he read in school in the 1960s. He says that it is about a young girl whose wallpaper comes alive at night, but beyond that he doesn't remember much. I've looked around, however, all I've seen are the books The Yellow Wallpaper, Wallpaper for Eugene's Room, and The Magic Wallpaper. I've shown him these three books, but unfortunately none of them are what he is thinking of. Part of me thinks it may have been a short story in a textbook or reader, but he swears it is a chapter book. Thanks in advance for anyone who responds!

Sounds like something Enid Blyton might write though I do not recall coming across magic wallpaper.
